Tainted Love played on Floppy Disc Drives

Incoming from about 75 different sources today (which is excellent because I have not had a minute to blog today): Tainted Love played on 13 floppy and one hard disc drive.

The video itself is almost 18 months old, but I suspect that this Huff Post article, describing it as:

…one of the greatest practical applications of memory-based technology ever created

may have resurrected it.

Sail

Sail by Awolnation isn’t paying homage to SAIL-StadeFrance, the ex-operators of the iconic Cape Town Stadium. But it is still a damn fine tune involving a million pizzicato stringed instruments. You might also want to follow up with the debut album Megalithic Symphony:

You may recognise the song from Jeb Corliss’ “Grinding The Crack” video, which is both spectacular and amazingly safe for work, despite the title. Jeb, of course, later went on to grind his leg on Table Mountain, the POV video of which is now available here.
