I’ve uploaded a few photos of (what is, I think) a Golden Orb Spider onto Flickr.
It’s built a huge web in the back garden and has captured several (or more) flies, which it is storing for later.
It also has a scary zombie-monster face on its back. Which is nice.
We had such a blast with one of these last year watching it, and it’s web, grow for months. They’re a stunning little breed.
Right, I’m not sure I can read your blog anymore. Mainly because I’m hiding under my desk in the fetal position and crying. My 1st instinct is burn it, with fire!
