Snow-ta Photo

I’m watching Tranmere v Wolves in the FA Cup (and currently Tranmere are all over the visitors like an aggressive gravy) so I’m giving you a snow-ta photo.
It’s like a quota photo, but with snow (see what I did there?).

This is one my Dad took on New Year’s Eve. Beautiful.
My parents arrived back home on 10th December from a 6 week tour of  Australia. It was 3°C in Sheffield that day and it hasn’t got that warm again since. The forecast until Friday gives a daily maximum of 0°C or below.

Happy days.

  1. And it’s not going to get any warmer… word from the reliable weather forecasters, ie. NOT the Met Office, is that we can expect the last two weeks of January to be even colder than it is now. These independents have done a better job of predicting the weather here, so I tend to believe them. The Met Office was telling us winter was going to be “mild”… there’s nowt mild about zero degrees Celsius!! Even my fridge is warmer!! 😀

  2. I can tell you from a cold Mansfield, that it’s hardly been above 0C for the last few days!

Happy New Year to you, Mrs 6000 and the Mini 6000’s 😆

  3. Happy New Year!

I know, I know but I could not think of anything else to say. I am starting the year of slowly.

  4. See you’ve been using my pics again. Been up there again today, this time with X-country skis! What’s more it was even colder today.
