Hot on the heels of the 6000 miles… Album of the Year 2013 post, herewith a really good remix of one of the tracks from one of the contenders, Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories:

Evidently, it’s an eminently remixable album, as proven by the overwhelming response to a Soundcloud search: you could literally spend days and days on there. And then you could accidentally stumble across some Pet Shop Boys remixes and then you’d be there for another week or so.
But that would be very naughty, because you have better things to do, like filing, completing that spreadsheet and wondering if Jenny from Accounts wants to pop out for sushi this evening.
Or whatever it is that you office people do.

Exhaustathon
What a weekend. Walks on the beach, braais in the evening, drinking, repairing a garden, climbing on the cottage roof, all carried out in wall-to-wall sunshine. Perhaps understandably, there’s not much left in the tank.

My Favourite Superhero
On Father’s Day, what better than this set of… erm… photo-drawings from Italian… erm… photo-drawer Giulia Pex?
She took photos of her dad doing mundane tasks and then jazzed them up because her dad is her favourite superhero.
Even at age [quite old] my Dad can regularly still be found on the roof (although not if he remembers to take his medication). I’ve never seen him opt for the pose above though: he’d probably be painting the chimney.
Anyway, this goes out to my Dad and any other father’s out there who are their kids’ favourite superheroes.
