Half a world away…

A couple of photos taken this morning.
One of mine, taken in Cape Town, featuring my boy and False Bay:

And one of my Dad’s, taken in Sheffield, featuring his back garden:

And although for many it might seem to be a no-brainer, I’m actually struggling to decide where I would rather be right now…

  • There is something rather delightful about snow, isn’t there? Except, of course, if you’re a Eurostar passenger… 🙁

We were gifted some snow overnight, and it always makes me smile when I see how the locals cope. The older folk definitely do a better job of it than the youngsters, but then I guess it wasn’t that long ago that snow like this was a regular occurrence! 🙂

  • Oh, the contrasts of a considered life! Maybe both choices have their place?

  • I love the snow. Especially when I lived in London and it didn’t often settle on the ground.

But think of the slush and mud. The black ice. The salt on the roads. And, of course, the cold!

No, I rather be enjoying the sun thanks…
